The James H. Bowes Courthouse in Pittsfield, Massachsetts. This Romanesque building in the style of H.H. Richardson was formerly the Berkshire Athenaeum. The addition depicted here was designed by Williams Cummings Richardson in 1876. The photograph was made by William H.
